
Meet the Owner
Just Pizza is owned and operated by Holden Boles, a Scott County native with a serious passion for pizza—specifically, New York Style pizza done right.
Holden grew up in Robbins, Tennessee and graduated valedictorian from Scott High School in 2013. Not long after, he found his calling in the kitchen. Starting in 2016, he honed his craft as a pizza chef at Smoky Mountain Brewery and Bluetick Tavern (formerly Barley’s Taproom & Pizzeria) in Maryville.
In 2020, he moved to Washington, D.C. with his sister, Afton, and helped open Ballston Local in Arlington, VA. As the kitchen manager and head pizza chef, Holden brought his skills to a fast-paced restaurant serving up New York Style slices and pies. It was there that he deepened his love for thin, foldable slices, fresh ingredients, and the perfect sourdough crust.
After five years, he returned home to Scott County with a vision: to bring the big city slice shop experience to a small town he loves.
At Just Pizza, Holden makes every sourdough crust by hand and tops it with only the freshest ingredients. No gimmicks, no fluff—just great pizza, made with care, served by someone who knows and loves his craft.
